Generally we believe the laws of physics cant be defied, any time they are that means they were wrong before and so we rewrite them.
I have had my own little defying of physics. During my PhD I showed that the way people had thought for 40 years that the nuclei of atoms vibrate wasn’t right.
I’m still working 6 years later on figuring out exactly what the new right answer is and lots of other people are not fully convinced and trying to fix the old answer. At some point in the future after more experiments and theories we’ll come to agreement on what this bit of physics is.
And then it will be someone else turn to come along and prove me wrong and defy physics.
