• Question: Are you a fan of sea animals

      Absolutely!

      Sea animals are fantastic. I don’t study them professionally, but I find them fascinating,
      the range of strange alien-like creatures. From huge whales and big Spider Crabs, to the tiny Comb Jellies with their little rows of flashing lights that make them look like little space space ships.

      Have you watched the Blue Planet documentaries?

      One of my favourite things to do in new cities is visit the aquarium. Although since marring a Japanese woman it’s become a slightly different experience, as she treats it more like a buffet/menu.

      I am a fan too!
      There are great creatures under the sea and we still have a lot of things to learn. Did you know that the oldest-known animals came from the sea and that 95% of the ocean is yet unexplored?
      Octopuses are my favourites. They are very intelligent and masters of disguise.

      Yes! I love sea animals, that’s why I ended up being a aquatic biologist! I love how diverse they can be and how different they can be from us. They also face such hugely different environments to us so they’ve had to evolve some really clever mechanisms to make sure they can survive.
