• Question: what got you into robots? and do you ever think that robots will take over one day? And if so what do you think would happen?

      I am a big Sci-Fi fan, and have always been fascinated with things like space exploration and space travel. Originally I started working on things like satellite communication, but then moved towards more Earth-based wireless communications.

      From there it was a bit of a chance really, when I found out about two projects which were focused on robots but were also interested in how new wireless technology can benefit them. Robots are just cool, and it was exciting to try something new.

      I sincerely doubt robots will ever take over in the sense that they will rule us. There are many guidelines and standards on how to research and develop robotic technology in an ethical and safe way. The focus is always on maintaining trust between humans and the robots, treating both with respect, but in the end making sure the humans are always in charge.

      I do hope that robots will be able to help us do more things and have more free time though.
